Residence EM is a triplex hidden within the slim streets of Lisbon. With an current intricate inside format and construction, the intention of the undertaking was to outline the areas correctly, connecting them to the views of the town.

The primary stage is occupied with the widespread areas – dwelling and eating room with an open kitchen – and the second and third flooring are occupied with personal rooms, with the main bedroom being on the final flooring, opening to the view of downtown Lisbon.

Whereas the construction of the condo was hidden within the current stairs and false ceiling, it will by no means be attainable to guess these had been all misaligned. It was from this downside that the idea of the aesthetics of the renovation was born.

Whereas dividing the areas within the dwelling and eating room there was a chance to attach a column and a beam with an arc – relating these parts with the prevailing window openings on the facade. The arc grew to become the principle character of the room and unfold by way of the entire condo.

The steps started to curve, the carpentries had been ornamented as an allusion to the previous and the mirrors had no corners anymore.
